Software Development Fundamentals

This introductory course to software development equips learners with the confidence to understand and participate in development conversations. By completing this course, learners will gain the foundations necessary to enter a digital technology career or enhance their existing professional skill sets with improved digital technology capabilities. The course focuses on developing the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in a software development environment and perform entry-level software development tasks. Foundational concepts related to the software development process will be explored, including Agile project management methodologies and commonly used development tools. Additionally, learners will become familiar with the basics of HTML and CSS languages.
